San Rafael Douchess palawan
San Rafael douchess located at San pedro puerto princesa palawan.
Last march 2 to 8 we the 9 am of pps had given again another chance to visit once again the PUERTO PRINCESA PALAWAN for free commendation w/ free allowances given by our big boss and had a chance to visit some popular tourist spot of Palawan.
The purpose of this trip is team building and seminar.. Im very lucky to employed and to be part of pps family.
Last Day of our seminar last activity po namin is team building. and the venue at san rafael douchess.. medyo may kalayuan sya from the city itself mahigit isang oras ang byahe pero sulit naman. the place is amazing and very cool.. ang dagat sa umaga at dapit hapon is very relaxing... tama tama lang sa amin team building. we stayed here overnight coz our activity started at night. after the dinner w/ sea food we start our first activity called"ituloy mo..." pero nice game. kasi lahat kami di namin alam kung ano ang tanong.. ang di makasagot sa tanong mag inom ng isang basong tubig.hehehe... sa activity na ito napalabas namin na mga AM ang amin sama ng loob at ang hirap na amin dinadaanan..
Early morning maaga pa kami nagising.. we've given the chance na makaikot sa place and jogging.. and this picture was taken by our boss.. to our boss.. sir daghan salamat. AJA PPS.. more branches to come..

That's What Friends Do
"What's wrong?" I asked.
He jabbed a finger at the proposal. "Next time you want to change anything, ask me first," he said, turning on his heels and leaving me stewing in anger.
How he dare treat me like that, I thought. I had changed one long sentence, and corrected grammar -- something I thought I was paid to do.
It's not that I hadn't been warned. The other women, who had served in my place before me, called him names I couldn't repeat. One co-worker took me aside the first day. "He's personally responsible for two different secretaries leaving the firm," she whispered.
As the weeks went by, I grew to despise Jack. It was against everything I believed in -- turn the other cheek and love your enemies. But Jack quickly slapped a verbal insult on any cheek turned his way. I prayed about it, but to be honest, I wanted to put him in his place, not love him.
One day, another of his episodes left me in tears. I stormed into his office, prepared to lose my job if needed, but not before I let the man know how I felt. I opened the door and Jack glanced up.
"What?" he said abruptly.
Suddenly I knew what I had to do. After all, he deserved it.
I sat across from him. "Jack, the way you've been treating me is wrong. I've never had anyone speak to me that way. As a professional, it's wrong, and it's wrong for me to allow it to continue," I said. Jack snickered nervously and leaned back in his chair. I closed my eyes briefly. God help me, I prayed.
"I want to make you a promise. I will be a friend," I said. "I will treat you as you deserve to be treated, with respect and kindness. You deserve that," I said. "Everybody does." I slipped out of the chair and closed the door behind me.
Jack avoided me the rest of the week. Proposals, specs, and letters appeared on my desk while I was at lunch, and the corrected versions were not seen again. I brought cookies to the office one day and left a batch on Jack's desk. Another day I left a note. "Hope your day is going great," it read.
Over the next few weeks, Jack reappeared. He was reserved, but there were no other episodes. Co-workers cornered me in the break room.
"Guess you got to Jack," they said. "You must have told him off good." I shook my head.
"Jack and I are becoming friends," I said in faith. I refused to talk about him. Every time I saw Jack in the hall, I smiled at him. After all, that's what friends do.
One year after our "talk", I discovered I had breast cancer. I was 32, the mother of three beautiful young children, and scared. The cancer had metastasized to my lymph nodes and the statistics were not great for long-term survival. After surgery, I visited with friends and loved ones who tried to find the right words to say. No one knew what to say. Many said the wrong things. Others wept, and I tried to encourage them. I clung to hope.
One day, the door darkened in my small hospital room and Jack stood awkwardly on the threshold. I waved him in with a smile and he walked over to my bed and, without a word, placed a bundle beside me. Inside lay several bulbs.
"Tulips," he said.
I smiled, not understanding.
He cleared his throat. "If you plant them when you get home, they'll come up next spring." He shuffled his feet. "I just wanted you to know that I think you'll be there to see them when they come up."
Tears clouded my eyes and I reached out my hand. "Thank you," I whispered.
Jack grasped my hand and gruffly replied, "You're welcome. You can't see it now, but next spring you'll see the colors I picked out for you." He turned and left without a word.
I have seen those red and white striped tulips push through the soil every spring for over ten years now. In fact, this past September the doctor declared me cured. I've seen my children graduate from high school and enter college. I've celebrated twenty-two years of marriage with my husband.
In a moment when I prayed for just the right word, a man with very few words said all the right things.
After all, that's what friends do.

the great life!
I've had the pleasure of witnessing the truth of this statement for over 31 years. From as far back as I can remember my Mom and Dad were a team. A great partnership. They were more than just a partnership. It was as if they were one person.
Sure, they argued, but there was never any doubt in our minds that any disagreements would be worked through and resolved. Mom and Dad began their married life poor, but they worked hard and, over the years, they know their strengths and weaknesses, but the way they worked together, you never saw the weaknesses, just the strengths.
Dad was very strict and very industrious. Everyone knew Dad! Then, when they got to meet Mom, they felt the exact same way about her as well. Mom, what I can say the best mother in the whole world. Very loving and sacrificial mother. They both don’t have business. My father is a farmer and my mother is a plain housewife. We are eight sibling and im the seven from the eight siblings. I saw the hardship and struggle of my parents in order to send their children in school.
The biggest lesson about love and marriage that my mom and dad taught us kids was how to talk "about" your spouse. Have you ever heard husbands and wives, when speaking to others, make unkind remarks about their spouses? It's one of those things people just seem to do. Sure, they're "only kidding," or maybe they are not. But words matter. And words teach, whether positively or negatively.
Now, finally the eight sibling they had is already all professional. They are both happy what they have and done to their children. And very proud parents.

In the early part of the 19th century, the island town of now Pres. Carlos P. Garcia was only indicated in the map as Lapinig Grande with six regular barrios: Pitogo, Aguining, Basiao, Bonbonon, Gaus and Tugas as part of Ubay town.
Late Cong. Teodoro Galagar of the 3rd Congressional District of the province of Bohol, initiated the created of Lapining Grande into a town. Aguining, Pitogo and Bonbonon were the barangays bidding for township. Pitogo has more of the ideal features of a safe port and nearer Ubay and Cebu.
On June 21, 1969, RA 5864 was approved creating Pitogo as the 46th town of the province of Bohol with 23 regular barangays existing. Eight years later on November 4, 1997, its name was changed to Pres. P. Garcia by virtue of Presidential Decree 2828.
Now palawan pawnshop is soon rise in this island. another success for palawan pawnshop. last april 1 me and my co officer had time to visit in the said island.
anyways pres. garcia island also known pitogo island composed of 23 bgry. 1 hr. na byahe via pump boat going to island na may pamasahe na 50 pesos.
ang PITOGO island ang isang matahimik na lugar at simpleng pamumuhay ng mga tao dito. mababait at magalang. actually di kami nahirapan sa pag hanap ng pwesto to the fact na kami ay pawang baguhan sa nasabing isla. they are very accomodating..
sa PPS family welcome to PITOGO island soon to rise..
The business start stop start to die.. Gogogogo palawan pawnshop

health
To have energy you need sugar, so there's a little bit of sugar in your blood at all times. Your body uses a chemical called 'insulin' to let this sugar into your cells. Insulin is produced in the pancreas, which is an organ that sits behind your stomach.
Most cells in your body have insulin receptors on their outer surface. Insulin fits into these receptors like a key opening a lock. When this connection is made, it signals special transporter proteins to move up to the cell membrane, where they allow more sugar molecules to enter the cell. This sugar fuels your body's cells, giving them the energy they need to work properly and repair themselves.
Normally, your body is able to maintain proper levels of sugar in your blood and inside your cells. But in people with diabetes, the body's cells stay locked and sugar can't get in to provide energy. This causes too much sugar to build up in the blood. Over time, high levels of sugar in the blood can lead to serious health problems in the eyes, feet and hands, kidneys, and heart.
There are two main types of diabetes -- type 1 and type 2.
Type 1 diabetes usually begins in young children and teenagers. People with this type of diabetes have a pancreas that doesn't produce enough insulin -- or stops producing it altogether. This means they need to have insulin shots on a regular basis to help keep their blood sugar at the right level.
Type 2 diabetes happens in people whose pancreas DOES make insulin. But in a person with this type of diabetes, the insulin receptors on the cells' surface become less sensitive. Since the receptors don't respond to the insulin anymore, sugar stays locked out of the cells and remains in the blood. Type 2 diabetes is usually seen in older people. Also, things like being overweight and smoking can make a person more likely to get type 2 diabetes. This is especially true for those who are African American or Hispanic.

ppc seminar
i arrived at cebu port around 9am. very early to my flight to ppc. our flight is 2pm. i dropped by to our office at manduae city cebu. pag dating ko doon, nandaoon na si miga rona. busy doing her report. well ako wala lang. hehehe. . paano wala na extra computer. but aside from that i am confident with my report and powerpoint. although kinakabahan ako imagine all the bossing will be our audience during the reporting. im nervous na baka di ko masagot ang mga tanong mga tanong ni sir. pero bahala na basta im ready.. 10 am while 2 AM from capizlanron(capiz, aklan, romblon)area and iloilo arrived. so we decided to go sm city to buy our pasalubong to everybody. because wala kami wawart we decided to contribute na lang.hehhee.. (kuripot e) we eat our lunch at the food court(wala nga money tas ang mahal ng pagkain)me i only ordered sotanghon special for lunch no rice no sofdrinks..habang kami ay naghihintay ng 1 pm going to airport nag ikot ikot muna kami sa sm city. knowing na wala kami pera.(hehhee)

petiks-peteks
magtrabaho.
A. Una ay umabsent.
bossing mo, the earlier the better.
o luma.
anu-ano. 9:30-10:00
4. Tignan mo nga naman. Alas dies na! Break time na ulit! Pagkatapos
8. Break time na ulit. Ang bilis nga naman ng oras. Hala..punta na ulit sa
pantry. Maaari ka na ulit mag-kape at makipag-chikahan. 3:00-3:15
Tapos ay gawin ulit and #5. Tignan ang oras sa
computer mo.
trabaho.

Women Jokes
For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun.
"We must know that you will follow your instructions, no matter what the circumstances. Inside this room, you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill Her!!!"
The man said, "You can’t be serious. I could never shoot my wife."
The agent said, "Then you’re not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home."
The second man was given the same instructions.
He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about five minutes. Then the man came out with tears in his eyes.
"I tried, but I can’t kill my wife."
The agent said, "You don’t have what it takes, take your wife and go home."
Finally, it was the woman’s turn. She was given the instruction to kill her husband.
She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard, one shot after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the woman. She wiped the sweat from her brow.
"This gun is loaded with blanks", she said. "I had to beat him to death with the chair."

should i quit my job or not?
well, actually i find hard to decide if i should quit my job or not.
i really love my job. well honestly i considered my job as my second family. the pps family. i've been 7 yrs.working at pps na. i was started at iloilo as branch cashier, to capiz my hometown as branch manager and become an area supervisor and was assigned also the province of aklan and some part of antique and was assigned also at cebu and now here in bohol. and also given a chance to tour for free as lakbay aral in some part of negros occidental, negros orriental or even at puerto prinsesa palawan for twice and metro manila. or even have a chance going abroad.. lagi ko nga sinasabi na kong hindi dahil sa pps di ko naikot ang sarili kong bayan or even di ako nakapunta sa ibang lugar.im always say on myself that im one of the luckiest employee of pps. Or even given a chance to handled one area. the area of bohol that now i learned to love. at first i hate to assigned here in bohol because its far na sa amin. sa capiz at sa mindanao. anyways, one reason why i accept my assignment at cebu area because for me maging malapit na ako sa mindanao sa husband ko at anytime makauwi ako sa mindanao or even in my place thru plane. until my boss decided to assigned me at bohol as AM. maybe sa others its a great opportunity to promote or choosen by your boss. but for me at that time i felt unhappy and honestly i cant imagine my tears flows on my eyes.. very funny actually.. as they said, ako lang daw yon ginpromote na umiiyak. hehehe..
well my job at pps is not easy honestly. very risky actually but challenging everyday. i really love my work and all people around me. especially my boss. he's a kind of boss na u can treat him like a father. actually, all of his employees are close to him.. and that's one reason why i find hard to leave pps. Gusto ko if mag paalam ako na mag resign na me sa work ko today, tomorrow di na ako magduty. kasi habang tumatagal nalulungkot ako.
anyways, im plan to quit my job this coming april 30. my resignation letter is already ok. naghihintay lang ako ng time na makausap ko ulit yon boss ko about my plan bago ko ipasa yon resignation letter ko.
May be you wonder why i should quit my job samantala mahal ko naman ito.
actually i married woman. my husband is pure ilonggo but a native of general
well, im willing to give up everything for the sake of my family. i love my family and i want to build a family with my husband. i want to have a kids and a simple and happy family.
But aside of my willingness to give up everything for my family especially my work nandyan pa rin yon takot ko na mawalan ng trabaho at maging housewife na lang. and living with my inlaws. actually, wala pa kaming sariling bahay ng hubby ko. pero may bahay sya pinatayo pero dalawa sila ng pinsan nya nagmamay ari. and im disappointed honestly sa naging desisyon nya. pero as wife i will support pa rin sa hubby ko. even i know its hard to live with inlaws not because they are not good to me but simply because i only believe that as a husband and wife they must have their own house for the reason: to start and build their own family. And hoping and praying na
Pag kayo kaya sa lugar ko.you should quit your job or not?
my collection part III
this my 3 jars collection. i don't know what kind of jar it is. but i bought this when while i traveled . one woman convinced me to buy this because it brings daw good luck in my life daw.. i bought this in a cheapest price actually. and before she give it to me she teach me a ritual how it brings luck or what im going to do. she ask me 10 peso coin and make an orimos etc. then put she put it inside the jar. the sabi nya every thursday and friday im going to put a piece of cotton in each jar.and take note ha. after 7 days daw may matanggap me na swerte. but because im busy at di naman ako naniwala di ko ginawa.

The Fortune Plant
The plant was called fortune plant itself. It was a belief that once you planted it, you should make it sure that it will be alive for it brings good luck to you. and if it will die it brings bad luck. But it was happened that i believe that its not what it should mean to be. Any plants make a fortune to us beings and simply because plants brings energy to us. When you're feeling alone and you see a living plants in a corner in your house or offices it give us good aura, ambiance freshes our inner feeling and give vibrance to our surroundings. If you're a plant lover if you observe a dying plants you feel also like dying or down or sad.
well anyways, i love plants so much..as the matter of fact, i have fortune plant on top of my table. and even in a corner of our office and this plant serve as decoration as well as it gives us good aura and fresh air. And even in our new house i put some plants in our side table and center table and in the corner of our house. And before i went back to my work here at bohol i planted some flowers and diff. kind of fortune plants.
So that's it. The real fortune of fortune plants is when its alive and blooming.because it gives energy and life to the one who have and see it. Any plant can be a fortune when you bring it to life.
So what are you waiting for... have also a fortune plants!

The biggest python in captivity ever known. Named after its captor, Prony, it loves to eat during feeding time. The winding barangay road leading to the sanctuary and the majestic sights along the course keeps one feel the prime of nature. The Animal Kingdom Federation, Inc. (AKFI), a SEC registered, non-profit and non-stock animal welfare organization registered with the Animal Welfare Division of the Bureau of Animal Industry recently vowed to build an animal sanctuary here. The AKFI made this commitment after hearing reports on the 23-foot long python locally called baksan, owned by Sofronio Salibay in Barangay Sta. Filomena, has been fed with stray dogs. The python has caught the attention of many local and foreign tourists, not only for its size but particularly on how it has been fed.The memorandum, aside from manifesting full implementation of RA 8485, also reiterates the improvement of the cage based on animal welfare standards and introduction of alternative feeding.Creating an animal sanctuary would make Albur the only Animal Welfare Friendly Municipality in the country. AKFI is also associated with the International Wildlife Coalition Trust (IWCT), an internationally recognized organization founded in the United States dedicated to the protection of global wildlife and natural habitat protection.
